What is ceramic transfer?

Ceramic transfer is a specialized technique that involves applying then burning a print onto a ceramic product. The process begins with screen printing your logo on decal paper using high-temperature ceramic inks. The decal paper is then wrapped around the ceramic item after soaking in water. The assembly is held in an oven for several hours at temperatures approaching one thousand degrees Celsius. The decal paper burns completely while the print permanently fixes into the ceramic.
